Moving out of Lazio, the national park of Abruzzo is one of Italy's best national parks. Mountains, valleys, and incredible flora and fauna are a few highlights of this natural paradise. The park is full of areas to explore and is home to bears, wolves, and red deer.

Finally, you can find the national park of Gran Sasso and the mountain range of Monti della Laga in the nearby area of Teramo.  The park has three mountain ranges, endless hikes, beaches, gondolas, and skiing. It's truly unmissable.
